Following the great success of the English Language Roadshow (kindly hosted by Unitec) in Auckland last year, NZQA are looking at organising another show in Auckland in February this year to cater for all those who missed out (at least 40 on the waiting list were unable to attend). At this stage it looks like February 24th is the likely date.
If you could please share this information with your staff/colleagues/network so that we can get an idea of whether it will be worth holding an extra event, that would be much appreciated. I know many of you have already attended (or will be attending in Tech tomorrow!), but if you know of anyone still wanting to attend, could you let Mark Dawson Smith know by email asap

Tertiary ESOL teachers who are assessing against the English Language unit standards - or designing assessments along similar lines - would find a workshop useful. There is also an online English Language BPW option. See for details. For further information about NZQA Best Practice Workshops go here
